More Success at District Competition

The Cottondale FFA did excellent at the District Contest this past Friday. The Parliamentary Procedure Middle and High School teams both placed first in their divisions. These two teams will be moving on to state finals in Orlando this coming June. The Middle School team members are: Hailey Chambliss, Luke Ohler, Josh Scurlock, Rebecca Barnes, Jeremy Scurlock, and Ashley Hicks. The team’s alternate was Jersie McGinty. The High School team members are: Caleb Reed, Taylor Dumas, Jordan Dominguez, Carl Young, Joey Jackson and Blayton See. The team’s alternate was Angelina Trino. High School student, Caleb Reed, also placed 2nd in Extemporaneous Speaking, and in the Middle School Josh Scurlock placed 2nd in Prepared Public Speaking.
