Success at Sub-Districts
On Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, the Cottondale Middle and High School FFA Chapters competed in the Sub-District Contests in Graceville, Fla. Both chapters had many achievements.
Josh Scurlock placed first in the Middle School Prepared Public Speaking Leadership Development Event. The Middle School Parliamentary Procedure Team also placed first; this team consisted of Josh Scurlock, Jeremy Scurlock, Rebecca Barnes, Ashley Hicks, Luke Ohler, and Kaylee Alexander.
Tiyana Gray placed second in the High School Prepared Public Speaking Leadership Develop Event. Caleb Reed placed first in the High School Extemporaneous Speaking Leadership Development Event. Addison Griffin competed in the Creed Speaking Leadership Development Event and represented the chapter well. The High School Parliamentary Procedure Team also placed first; this team consisted of Taylor Dumas, Jordan Dominguez, Carl Young, Joey Jackson, Blayton See, and Caleb Reed.
